About the Event
This is a fully accessible 5 week live course delivered on Zoom to reduce levels of anxiety, stress and low mood using mindfulness meditation training techniques. Each week builds on the previous week to; - enhance understanding of unhelpful thinking patterns - offer insight of behaviours and effects on the body - increase self awareness - develop self-compassion - learn new skills and techniques to move into a calmer state of being - develop a mindfulness meditation practice It is essential that you can commit to all 5 x one hour weekly sessions and can practice the guided mindfulness meditations in between sessions to fully benefit from the course. The ZOOM class size will be restricted to a maximum of 10 individuals.
Please note that the cost of this course is a suggested donation of £30 but if your income has been affected please make a donation of your choice. Your donation will be used to fund our Young People's Programme to help improve young adults aged 12-21 years mental wellness.
