About the Event

Mindfulness & Wellbeing Programme (16-18 years)

We offer a mental wellbeing service to support young people age 12-25 years.

This specific mindfulness, compassion and wellbeing programme is designed for young adults aged 16-18 years.  The course aims to enhance each young adult's mental, emotional, physical health and wholeness to live a healthier, happier, more productive and meaningful life.

The programme runs for 75 minutes every Monday evening at 6.30pm for eight weeks in a supportive and safe environment within a small and friendly group.

Our Mindfulness Course is a preventative approach that empowers young adults to develop a greater awareness and understanding of themselves, to develop good mental wellbeing skills and to apply these practical and helpful skills in everyday life.

This course offers a valuable educational resource to understand more about the nature of the mind and to develop the capacity for mindful non-judgmental awareness of thoughts, feelings and behaviour.

Never has it been so important as it is now for young people to be able to freely access training programmes to increase self-awareness, resilience, confidence and self-esteem to improve and manage their own wellbeing.

This course has been fully funded by the Scottish Government.
