About the Event

Mindfulness & Wellbeing Programme for Young Adults

This specific mindfulness, compassion and wellbeing programme is designed for young adults aged 12-25 years and a parent/carer. The course aims to enhance mental, emotional, physical health and wholeness to live a healthier, happier, more productive and meaningful life and to improve family relationships.

The programme sessions run for approximately 60 minutes every week for eights weeks at an agreed mutual time.

.

Our mindfulness and wellbeing course is a preventative approach that empowers young adults and parents/carers to develop a greater awareness and understanding of themselves and each other and to develop good mental wellbeing skills and more harmonious relationships.

This course offers a valuable educational resource to understand more about the nature of the mind and to develop the capacity for mindful non-judgmental awareness of thoughts, feelings and behaviour.

Never has it been so important as it is now for young people and families to be able to freely access training programmes to increase self-awareness, resilience, confidence and self-esteem to improve and cope with the changing nature of the mind and their own wellbeing.

This course has been kindly funded by The National Lottery, Community Fund for 2023/24.
