Through the qigong exercises and forms of regulating the body, the breath and the mind, we can improve our own health condition and make the mind and body reach a high degree of harmony. Health Qigong emphasises the awareness and integration of the three elements while working internally with moving and enhancing the flow of Qi. Health Qigong combines slow and gentle harmonious movements with the breath to improve circulation, slow down the heart rate, keep the internal organs healthy and enhance the immune system, by stimulating and balancing the flow of Qi in and around the body through the 12 meridian channels and acupoints. This form of qigong optimises life energy and self healing to improve and preserve health and wellbeing. The 12 sets of movements in this form can be done standing or sitting for those with mobility difficulties and improves: * Circulation * Slows the heart rate * Enhances the immune function * Improves flexibility and stability of all body joints * Strengthens the muscles, bones and ligaments * Improves functions of the nervous system Please wear comfortable clothes and soft soled footwear to change into and bring a bottle of water. Beginners are welcome at any time to join a class.
To cancel a class please contact us ideally 24 hours in advance. You can do this by logging into your account, navigating to My Bookings and choose 'cancel'. We operate a waiting list policy and this process allows us to offer your place to another member. Sessions cancelled with less than 4 hours before the class start time will not be refunded back to your account. More than 3 cancellations without notice may result in future bookings not being accepted.
