The eight week course aims to support a young adult aged 16-18 and a parent/carer to develop a greater awareness and understanding of their mind, emotions and behaviour, to learn how to regulate emotions and develop self-compassion and resilience for good mental wellbeing.

About the Event

Mindfulness & Wellbeing Programme for Parent/Carer & Young Adult

This specific mindfulness, compassion and wellbeing programme is designed for young adults aged 16-18 years and a parent/carer. The course aims to enhance mental, emotional, physical health and wholeness to live a healthier, happier, more productive and meaningful life and to improve family relationships.

The programme runs for 75 minutes every Wednesday at 3.30pm for eight weeks

.

Our mindfulness and wellbeing course is a preventative approach that empowers young adults and parents/carers to develop a greater awareness and understanding of themselves and each other and to develop good mental wellbeing skills and more harmonious realtionships.

This course offers a valuable educational resource to understand more about the nature of the mind and to develop the capacity for mindful non-judgmental awareness of thoughts, feelings and behaviour.
