Covid Safety Measures

Providing Everything You Need to Know For Peace of Mind While Visiting The Wellbeing Centre

SOCIAL DISTANCING

We are following Government Guidelines and have carried out a risk assessment to ensure safety measures are followed to keep members, visitors and our team safe and minimise the risk of contracting and spreading Covid-19. We have implemented the following procedures;

  • Class capacity has been reduced to ensure our members can maintain 2 metres distance while safely working out. This means group classes are smaller to adhere to social distancing guidelines in line with our risk assessment.

  • Signage is used throughout the centre to provide guidance and reduce the number of members, volunteers and instructors in certain areas of the Centre at any one time.

  • Wall and floor signage will help everyone visiting and working at the centre to keep a safe distance apart and provide guidance on where to stand and place mats within studio classes.

  • Our welcome desk has a new plastic screen to protect our members, volunteers and team.

  • We will operate a contactless sign in upon arrival to minimise contact and gathering in the Welcome arrival area.

MEMBErs & visitors  SAFETY

We have ensured that our team of volunteers and instructors have completed Covid-19 briefings to keep themselves and our members safe.

  • Everyone visiting the centre are asked not to enter the centre if they display any of the symptoms associated with Covid-19 and to follow NHS guidance.

  • The Government Guidelines state hygiene and social distancing are key to safety and while PPE is suggested as useful, it is currently not mandatory in a fitness environment.

  • Everyone visiting the centre will be required to wear a face covering when arriving, leaving and moving around the centre where social distancing is difficult. Current social distancing guidelines recommend for people to stay two meters apart, but if difficult the 1 metre plus rule will apply.

  • Our rotas ensure that our team can adhere to social distancing rules too.

  • We have window's that will be opened to allow for ventilation before and in between classes and during if required.

  • We kindly ask all visitors and members not to arrive early and to follow the specified arrival window to comply with social distancing guidelines.

  • We kindly ask all visitors and members to not gather in places and to leave the building promptly at the end of each class or event.
